Welcome to my site that was created in the loving memory of my sweet JOJO.
I’m an advocate for children and animals and this is where my story begins. In the summer of 2020 I was watching a show that really affected me called “No bullying” on Netflix. This motivated me to make a difference and do my part to STOP this act of violence by starting a podcast of awarness but more importantly to ackowledge those that protect the one’s that are getting bulled.
My goal is to visit as many schools as possible where this issue is present. This website is about helping kids in crisis, and this will involve everyone around them, also recognizing the “heroes” that stand up and protect others against bullies. My idea is called “The Peacemakers” and “The Everyday Hero”, where we have the opportunity to help in a way that only something like this can change what is going on.
-
Step 1 – Education: will be focused to teach everyone how to recognize bullying and know how to handle the situation safely and correctly. With knowledge and understanding, we can all take action when and where it’s needed. This process is for parents, teachers, neighbors, cafeteria staff, custodial staff, principals, bus drivers, and fellow classmates. We can take action to encourage peacemakers and discourage any other type of negative behavior To request a presentation contact Jeanie Wilson at behappyness.org or Here.

Step 2 – Follow through: Find the peacemakers in schools. Encourage others to follow in their footsteps. I would love to teach educational facilities how they can implement and follow through.
-
Step 3 – Recognize Heroes: Have a fun time showing off these kids and having a Pro-Peace Rally held at each school once a year to recognize youth that stepped up. Get teachers, parents, bus drivers, friends, and neighbors can submit names and stories of kids they know are heroes. These students go over and beyond to show kindness and protect others that are being bullied. We all need to recognize kids for doing the right thing and this in turn will encourage others to stand up against bullying. To facilitate these rallies, we can step in and guide the school on format and proper recognition. Those that are nominated will have a spot on my podcast with an award.
